It has been identified that when trying to open any of the IRIS modules on the IRIS main menu the following error may occur: IRIS Startup Failure Module: CORE Emulator Failed to start Cause: Failed to login into database Catastrophic failure HRESULT hr=0x8000ffff Catastrophic failure NOTE: The problem is caused by a corruption of the Windows user profile and not the IRIS software
Resolution
To resolve this error you are required to create a new user profile on the machine where the the error is occuring.
