Problem
It has been identified that in some cases the date and time of a defunct login in System Maintenance - System - Logins can show as: Thu Jan 01 00:00:00 1970
Resolution
This is normally an indication that there has been a crash on the system and IRIS was unable to obtain sufficient details for the session record. Therefore a default date and time are used.
This problem is not an indication of a wider problem. This login is not using a licence as there is not a staff member of module associated with the login.
The session records can be reset by resetting the session controls:
- Get everyone out of IRIS
- Open the IRIS Main Menu
- Click File – Utilities
- Click Fix – Reset Session Control
