Problem
When Incorporation is REJECTED, either by manually polling or through the E-file Scanner the rejection details are automatically updated within IRIS. A company is rejected by Companies House if certain credentials are not met within companies' house's criteria.
Resolution
Users are required to UPDATE the same formation company details as per the rejection message received from Companies House for the existing Client and resubmit the Incorporation.
To Re-submit the form users are to do the following:
Client| View| History – view the Company Formed Log and change the date to the day of incorporation – once changed save and close this.
Reports| Incorporation forms| tick electronically incorporate| change the status at the bottom to Rejected and print form| once the form has generated| Close form| Log/ do not log| Send details electronically to company’s house.
IMPORTANT: IRIS automatically includes the rejection code within the resubmission which is why the existing client will need to be updated.
By creating a NEW client to do the formation again will result in the system using another licence and cause Companies House to reject the incorporation because the rejection code is not included in the resubmission.
New Clients should only be created when a new Company needs to be incorporated
NOTE: To poll for a status please do the following:
Reports | Incorporation Forms | Form Status | Query Status
