Resolution
In all cases the amount of the surplus allowance being claimed needs to be entered on page TC2, box 13.
On the Additional information pages the entries are dependent on whether or not the client previously decided to share the minimum amount of MCA.
If yes, complete the claim by entering the details as appropriate in boxes 6 to 11. N.B. If an ‘X’ is entered in either box 6 or box 7 then box 8 must always be completed.
If no, complete the claim by entering an ‘X’ in box 10 and the spouse or civil partner’s name in the Additional Information box. Do NOT complete box 8.
