Problem
The P11D submission was rejected by HMRC with a 1046 rejection code.
Resolution
This indicates a problem with either the HMRC credentials or the PAYE reference. The HMRC username and password entered into the software needs to be identical to those held by HMRC. To edit these details, click on the Spanner Icon on the main toolbar, then the Configuration/Web Updates tab. If those are correct then the issue will be with the PAYE reference for the client. Please double check the PAYE reference number first and, if this is correct, contact HMRC.
