Resolution
1) Click on the backing schedule for Self-employment within page 2 of the tax return
2) Highlight the Self-employment
3) Click on View
4) Click on the ‘Business Details’ tab
5) Tick ‘Total profits below Class 2 NIC threshold for the year and paying Class 2 NICs voluntarily’
6) Close from the tax return
7) Click on the ‘Calculation’ button
8) Click on the backing schedule of ‘Enter Class 1 and Class 2 amount(s) here for Class 4 calculation’
9) Please check the amount of Class 2 and edit if appropriate
10) Click on ‘Close’ button
11) Click on ‘Print Tax Calculation’ button
