Problem
A warning appears when opening the software, or opening the eFiling log, indicating there are errors in the Comms Log. The message relates to Receive Authority2File, saying the requested connection could not be opened.
Resolution
This error means there is a problem connecting to the dedicated email address used for Authority2File (getting e-approval from clients prior to submission). The most common reason cause for this error is that dummy details have been entered and not removed but it could be a genuine connectivity issue.
If Authority2File is not being used it may be disabled by going to File > Presenter Details > Open the presenter > eFiling tab > Authority2File Options tab > Disable.
If Authority2File is actively being used please go to File > Presenter Details > Open the presenter > eFiling tab > Authority2File Email tab and confirm the details entered here are correct.
