Unable to upload eformations to London Law via FTP
Resolution
The October 2019 release introduced new functionality to upload formations to London Law via FTP to replace the previous email method. This is done via Port 21. Some users have reported problems using this functionality getting the following list of warning messages:
Communicating with FTP Server
Error sending to London Law
Please check your internet connection and try again.
Please make sure that Port 21 is open and that sr_comm.exe is added as an exception in any Firewall or Anti Virus software. The software writes the files to a temporary folder in the user’s Temp folder prior to upload so please ensure that the relevant permissions are applied to enable this e.g. C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\sregtmp\eform.
If the problem persists an improved version of the email functionality, with files now password protected, can be re-enabled by adding the following line into the [Preferences] section of the sharereg.ini file which can be found in one of two locations, either C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows (more likely), or directly in C:\Windows.
