Receive Authority2File comms log error 'Your mailbox cannot be accessed. Please activate TLS in your mail program.'
Resolution
This may occur where a vendor supplied email address is being used for Authority2File and has occurred following a change to security protocol required by IONOS. In order to resolve it please do the following:
1. Identify the data location by going to File > About PTP Share Register, then ensure the software is closed
2. Download the file below, unzip it, and save the contacts.tps file into the Data folder, replacing the existing file if prompted
3. Open the software and go to File > Presenter Details
4. Open the Presenter record > eFiling tab > Authority2File Email tab
5. Click OK (this will refresh entries behind the scenes even though you have not changed anything on screen)
6. To test, open the eFiling log from the Actions panel and select Send/Receive to ensure there are no further comms log errors
