Error 1315 - unable to write to location error when trying to install Keytime
Resolution
For clients running on a workgroup or peer to peer setup, you may experience the error below when installing the Keytime update
To overcome this you Must install IRIS Keytime on the machine where the data is stored first. The other workstations can then have IRIS Keytime installed. Failure to do so will result in the installation failing.
In order to determine if you are on a workgroup rather than a domain network, please refer to the steps below:
1. Click start
2. Type This PC in the search menu
3. Right click on This PC and click Properties
4. If you are running on a WorkGroup, it will display WorkGroup rather than Domain (as shown below)
