IRIS Personal Tax- Period Reform: IRIS Transitional Profits calculates through 'Day' method not Months or Weeks
Resolution
IRIS Transitional Profits only calculates through Days method not Months or Weeks
This issue has been raised with the Development Software Team and confirmed: IRIS Software does not cater for any other apportionment other than the HMRC default of using days. You would have to manipulate the profits and any adjustments to achieve any other required result between standard and transition parts. Unfortunately, these queries cannot be done through IRIS.
IRIS have created an enhancement/ideas request page where customer can put through following suggestions like the ones you have sent in an email. Once these suggestions are created, they will be reviewed and hopefully in a future update will be implemented into the software. Please click on the link below and you can create a suggestion here: Customer feedback & Ideas for IRIS (aha.io)
