Personal Tax- Period Reform 2024: Schedules of Data is showing incorrect Totals
Resolution
There are TWO different defects in PT affecting the Schedules of Data and the Tax comp and SA100 are correct:
1.The Schedules of Data report in IRIS Personal Tax is currently showing incorrect ‘totals’ for Self employment and trade income eg where the standard part profit (i.e. the profit for the prior accounting period) is counted twice in the reports ‘Net profit’ total. This has been confirmed as a DEFECT within the software IRIS Version 24.2.0 and is fixed on the Autumn update 24.3.0 now available.
2. The Schedules of Data report in IRIS Personal Tax is currently showing incorrect ‘Total taxable profits form business’. This has been confirmed as a DEFECT within the software IRIS Version 24.2.0/24.3.0 and is fixed on the IRIS April 2025 update (Date to be Confirmed). If the Tax comp, Trade comp and S100 are correct then a workaround provided is to save the Schedules of Data in Microsoft Word and manually adjust the incorrect figures. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
