IRIS Personal Tax- Tax comp has incorrect 'Tax deducted at source' (like from Employment etc)

Resolution

When you run the Tax comp and you have an incorrect ‘Tax deducted at source’ value- it doesn’t add up to all the tax entries like from Employment tax deductions. (eg a £9999 appears)

First run the ‘Schedule of Data’ report – this breakdown of data shows where all the tax entries are coming from: this £9999 is coming from ‘Other income’- now find the entry and correct it. Other tax entries which total up to the incorrect value could be found in different income sections so check the full report.
