Problem
I am migrating PTP Share Register to a new machine and i am unsure on how to do this.
Resolution
To migrate PTP Share Register to a new machine, please follow the steps below.
1. Install PTP Share Register on the new machine. Click here for the downloads page & here for the installation guide.
2. Copy the Data folder from the old machine onto a storage medium, i.e External Hard Drive or Memory Stick.
3. On the new machine, rename the existing Data folder to Data.old. Once completed, copy and paste the Data folder from your storage medium into the Sharereg folder, it should look like the screenshot below.
4. Launch the software and check that the software is working and your data is there. Any issues, please contact support for further assistance.
